Chaman Lal has 20+ years of work experience in sustainable economic development. He has been facilitating development goals at various levels including policy inputs to decision makers at national and state level. He has substantial experience in the field of private sector, start-ups and innovation. With his working background in UN and GIZ, he has acquired skills to mobilize, foster and strengthen strategic partnerships with UN agencies (UNIDO, ILO, UNICEF, UNDP), bilateral (JICA, DFID, GIZ, SDC), multilateral (WB, IFC, ADB, EU), Government (Indian national and state government, Bangladesh national government), private sector (Audi, Bayer, IKEA, Conron Shop, IBLF) and various foundations. As the Project Head, at GIZ India, Chaman Lal is currently responsible for managing Innovation in MSMEs focusing on developing and strengthening capacities of stakeholders in the MSME innovation ecosystem
